CDC completed the tenant improvement project for Royal Columbia Hospital’s relocation of their Corporate Finance & People Services teams in an off-site office building located in New Westminster.
The project scope included structural upgrades, modular partition walls, carpet tile, resilient flooring, fire protection system, intrusion alarm/access control, as well as HVAC, lighting, and security upgrades. Additionally, a new comm room along with its infrastructure was built to FHA/IMIT standards.
To accommodate the transportation of steel I-beams into the space, the building windows were temporarily removed so that the beams could be craned to each floor. The new office is equipped with modular workstations, a lunchroom, breakout rooms, boardrooms, central filing, and office equipment/supply areas.
