The ARH brachytherapy room was built to service the Fraser Health community by providing internal radiation therapy equipment to treat cancers.
The scope of the project included a treatment room, a procedure room, and supporting areas. The existing space was demolished, and upgrades were made to the finishes and architectural features.
Moreover, the project required a new industrial-sized air handling unit, and this equipment had an unusually extensive lead time. Nailing the end date to ensure that the space was ready for the first patient was extremely critical for this project.
