Lily’s Community Health Centre
Project Type: Healthcare
Client: Vancouver Coastal Health
Designer: MCM Interiors
Location: Vancouver
CDC Construction proudly delivered Lily’s Community Health Centre — the largest Community Health Centre in Vancouver, located in the Downtown Eastside. This significant healthcare construction project spans over 50,000 square feet across two levels and is targeting LEED Gold certification.
Designed to support integrated, team-based care, the facility consolidates multiple healthcare programs previously dispersed across several locations. The centre provides a full spectrum of services, including:
- Primary care
- Intensive Case Management (ICM)
- Home health and home support
- Adult mental health and substance use care
- Eye clinic
- Ambulatory care
- Health education
CDC successfully managed this complex healthcare renovation by overcoming many challenges, including existing building conditions, through detailed planning, phased execution, and strict adherence to healthcare construction standards.
The facility incorporates artwork by Squamish Nation artist Sinàmkin, reflecting the cultural context of the community and supporting an inclusive, patient-centered healthcare environment.
This project reinforces CDC Construction’s expertise in Community Healthcare Construction in Vancouver, supporting Vancouver Coastal Health’s model of team-based, integrated primary care.
