Circle Wellness Spas

Project Type: Special Projects

Client: Circle Wellness

Designer: Carscadden Stokes McDonald

Location: Vancouver

The Circle Wellness Spas project on Granville Island presented an exciting and ambitious mission for CDC: to create a first-of-its-kind private self-guided thermal spa, revolutionizing the industry by utilizing standard storage containers as the foundation. This innovative concept pushed the boundaries of what was considered possible, incorporating intricate and pioneering features that would provide an unparalleled experience for visitors.

The circuit boasts a range of distinctive features, including an open-air standing shower for a refreshing start, a natural cedar soaking tub to unwind and connect with nature, a therapeutic sauna made of salt blocks for releasing healing minerals, a cold-plunge pool for invigorating transformation, and a radiant heated stone floor for reflexology and lounging.
