Tsawwassen Mills Admin Office

Working with Studio Presber Architecture from Calgary, CDC provided general contracting services for the new two storey operations and maintenance office. Built over two floors, the main level included reception, management offices, a large boardroom and a staff kitchen. The second level housed mechanical storage and equipment rooms, locker rooms with showers, additional offices and a smaller staff room. Ornate wood beams were built as a ceiling feature travelling down the corridor and visually continuing through the glazing into the kitchen, creating movement throughout space. Wall vinyl graphics were installed along corridors and coordinating patterns were etched into glazing to allow light to pass through the space while providing some privacy.
