Richmond Hospital Cancer Care Clinic

The Cancer Care Clinic renovation was a vital component of the larger Richmond Hospital redevelopment project. It involved the complete renovation of an existing area within an operational hospital.

The scope encompassed the demolition of existing interior structures and extensive slab-on-grade trenching to accommodate new services. New treatment areas were built equipped with stretcher bays and recliner chairs, along with exam rooms, a secured medication room, clean and soiled utility rooms, patient washrooms, a new reception, a social worker office, clinical team offices, a staff lounge, and equipment depot were built.

Given the proximity of the project site to active patient care areas, measures were implemented to ensure minimal disturbance to patients in these sensitive areas.
