Richmond Hospital Atrium

The Richmond Hospital Atrium renovation included a redesigned atrium, construction of a new vestibule and added support spaces for patients and families. An enhanced wayfinding system used colour-coded zones and locally inspired icons to help visitors navigate through the hospital with greater ease. There was also an emphasis on infection control hoarding and pedestrian traffic tunnels to keep the public and patients safe from work above on the atrium ceiling.
