TD Canada Trust – 3399 Kingsway

Project Type: Retail

Client: BGIS

Designer: Iredale Architecture

Location: Vancouver

After completing two successful projects at River District and Station Square for TD Bank, CDC once again partnered with Iredale and BGIS on the interior construction of a new branch at 3399 Kingsway. The interior is comprised of a customer lounge, tellers space, ATM room, private offices, and staff/operations areas. Custom light fixtures were installed along with demountable partitions, architectural wood paneling, flooring and wall coverings throughout.

The additional exterior scope included work on the building façade and the installation of exterior lights. Fronting Stamford Street, the bank was facing a steep slope that required the use of a boom lift. CDC promptly facilitated the design and coordination of a safety hoarding plan that was sealed by an engineering consultant as well as obtaining permit approval from the City of Vancouver. With minimal disruption to the bank, the hoarding plan was constructed with COVID one-way foot traffic protocols.
