Municipal Insurance Association of BC

MIABC is the Municipal Insurance Association of BC, an organization providing risk management services for municipal governments. CDC provided general contracting services for their 12,000 square foot tenant improvement located on the second floor of a heritage building. Due to the age of the building, extensive structural and seismic upgrades were necessary and the existing timber frame construction needed to be retained and restored to accommodate the design. Ceilings were left exposed and painted white and glazed modular walls were used for the office fronts. Hardwood throughout the office and the cozy, living room style lounge warmed up the contemporary design.
